I went to Dr. Gohar for sclerotherapy (to remove spider veins) that have been a problem of mine for 15 years. This was my second attempt at treating them. the first was a complete waste of my time and money, and was using a laser. I saw absolutely no difference after wasting $200. But staying on topic here, my experience with Dr. Gohar was completely the opposite. I saw immediate results after my first session with her. She was very easy to schedule an appointment with, and always flexible to work with my eratic schedule. She works efficiently, and is pleasant to talk with during the treatments (good conversation provides some easy distraction during the treatments). Her space is clean and professionally run. She seems to be a genuinely kind person who truly cares about her clients and her work. I'm shocked that she doesn't have more stars. All three times I've had appointments with her have been 100% positive experiences. She's experienced and very professional with what she does. Financially she gave me a very good package deal to help me afford the services I want to complete. I will definitely be going back to her to continue my sclerotherapy treatments, and I plan on getting some laser hair removal from her too. I highly recommend her.

Recently visited Dr. Kathy Gohar for botox and fillers around my mouth and lips. As a 48 year old woman, every time I looked in the mirror, I could see that gravity was pulling my smile down, and my lips were getting thinner and thinner as I aged. Dr. Kathy Gohar changed all that! My lips are full again, and my frown lines are gone. I was so happy with her work, that I also had her do the area around my eyes ( crows feet), and the creases in my forward. I feel 0 years younger! I ran into a friend the other day and she asked me if I just came back from a vacation because I looked so well rested and happy.

Best experience I've had at a doctors office thus far. I don't mind traveling from Orange County all the way to BH. Dr Gohar is very accomplished, she is both professional and understanding about her patients concerns. In the past I've had doctors that would speak condescendingly or talk down to me, I've received the complete opposite at her practice. I've had laser treatments, Botox, fillers, and facials at spas but this has by far exceeded my expectations, much less pain and much better results. Sometimes I've had to wait a bit but it's totally worth it. When she is with her patients she doesn't ever rush you out, like I have had done to me in the past. Her utmost priority is her patients getting the best and her complete attention, so if it takes an extra 5-10 mins so-be-it. She is a workaholic but that's a great quality for a doctor to have. I would recommend her to anyone wanting any cosmetic or dermatological procedure. Don't be shocked that the office is quite small but you get great results. I'll keep going back as long as I can.

Dr Gohar is the best cosmetic surgeon in beverly hills. She is so dedicated and excels at her work. She is very caring and always makes you leave satisfied. She makes sure you get the best , most suited treatment for your complaint and will not overcharge you like most beverly hills surgeons. After 3 pregnancies of layered Melasma, I was embarrassed to look in a mirror. Dr. Gohar talked me through my procedure calmly, professionally, and empathetically. I had a laser procedure on my face done by Dr. Gohar called Fraxel. My face has changed 100%. My old skin has shed and new skin has resurfaced and it looks so amazing. Dr. Gohar's bedside manner is so amazing, while she was doing this she kept making sure I was okay and not in pain (there was no pain, she made sure my face was numb completely before doing the procedure). I have been complimented on my face many times. One of my clients at work even told me "I used to feel so bad for you before! Now your face looks so amazing!" How many times have you gone to a laser / cosmetic surgery center where the doctor spends more than 15 min with you?? Dr Gohar, MD actually did the entire IPL procedure on me by herself!!! That is not including the time and care her assistant spent with me!! Dr Gohar's expertise, nurturing manner and the expensive (real) laser machines are not the only reason why my IPL experience far exceeded compared to my other laser experiences!!! Her office cares about your outcome and the entire staff are dedicated to make you look and feel beautiful. I have been doing IPL, fraxel and other treatments to retain my vanity for the past decade. I came to Dr Gohar because of a LivingSocial special. I am truly impressed by the care she took to increase the success of a simple IPL procedure. Her office is the first one out of dozens I visited to actually have a separate spa room, where her assistant took time and care to clean and hydrate my face to improve the effect of the laser on my face!! I checked out her laser machines and Dr Gohar actually use well know brand name laser machines, where the results are well published and proven!!! Dr Gohar is knowledgeable, honest and pleasant! She offers honest methods to care for my skins, some of her advise has nothing to increases her revenue! Honey at Dr Kathy Gohar office gives the most amazing acne /hydrating facials ever. I got her number from a co worker that also received facials from her and after having so many bad experiences with facialists and doctors i was skeptical to go in but the first time she saw me she explained everything to me in a way everything made sense. i have been seeing Honey for 1 month now and i can tell a huge difference, my skin has an impressive glow from the peels that she does and my bumps have disappeared . her touch is amazing and she knows what shes doing . if i can trust someone like her with my skin you can too.

Honey is an amazing esthetician! She knows a lot of great products to recommend, especially for people suffering with acne. She can lead you in the right direction if you want to try natural products. I highly recommend going to her for your facial needs!

Dr. Gohar is very good. She does a lot of different things. I actually went there and I have done a lot of things, but did some sclerotherapy there too and wonderful work. She is very knowledgeable at everything she does and her work gets better results than a lot of people I had gone to. The prices are also better than everybody else. I never had a problem scheduling. The office is great. They just moved into a new and bigger one. There are two young people that work for her that had been with her for a long time and both of them are really great. They get back to your, they check on you. They explain everything like a teacher. I would use them again.

Dr. Kathy Gohar is pleasant to be with and knows how to help you. Especially those who have darker skin like me. She offers a variety of quality products and her prices are reasonable. She can handle anything from minor treatments to skin surgery. I have had some positive results using fotofacial. The challenge is following her instructions for someone like me. Bring your notepad and take notes. If you don't do what she recommends, it could lead some bad consequences. I will continue to visit her and I only expect excellent results. Dr. Gohar was INCREDIBLE. This was my first experience being inside of a medical spa. I never felt rushed, she explained everything very clearly, and was very honest. I received a Photo Facial and she also gave me a vitamin C hydrating mask and facial steam for free. The facility is located in Beverly Hills. I have been a patient of Dr. Gohar's for over five years and she has always provided me with the best professional and personal medical attention a person could ask for. She is warm and friendly with a sincere disposition you know you can trust. She explains everything to you up front and will answer any and all questions you may have. I've been going to Dr. Gohar for several years for Botox on my frown lines. She is very warm and hospitable. No discomfort at all. Very clean office, very professional. Highly recommend.

I had a car accident which resulted in a large tear in my forehead and a broken nose. I went to Dr. Gohar based on my daughter's recommendation. My daughter had moles removed by Dr. Gohar. You really can't even see where the moles were. She has no scars. I was really scared and didn't know how much this will cost me. Dr. Gohar spend over 1 hr explaining what the best treatment is for my face and broken nose. Her consultation was free. I signed up for the procedure the same day. Dr. Gohar not only fixed my broken nose, but she also repaired my forehead scars, and ended up doing a face lift at the same time. She called me right after surgery, saw me the next day, 2 days after my surgery, a week after my surgery,two weeks after my surgery, a month after my surgery, and continued to see me without charging me everytime i called her office. Monday was my last appointment, and i look 10 years younger. My friends are all amazed at my results. I have passed out her card to all my friends, and two of my friends have already signed up to see her. I went to her simply to get my broken nose fixed and to possibly fix my scars. She did a brilliant job of using very little Botox to create a natural relaxed look. She was gentle kind and compassionate. I had such a great time sitting in her office that she ended up giving me a peel that really made a huge difference. I think I like the peel even better. A few days after the treatment, I visited my mother who was so taking by my results that immediately made an appointment to make a trip to LA to see her. If you're looking for the best plastic surgeon/doctor in LA, look no more! Doctor Gohar is simply the best. I've been her patient for the past few years, and before her I had my fair share of bad experiences with various dermatologists and doctors to appreciate her warm demeanor, attention to detail, and aim for perfection. I've been going to Dr. Gohar for various treatments and procedures during the past few years. My first encounter with her was for a botox treatment. I have tiny lines and was very hesitant to try a new Doctor, afraid of getting one of those unnatural "devilish" looks that result from a bad botox. I only wanted a very minimal injection around the outer corner of my eyes (it amazingly also lifts the eyes) and my frown line. Unlike many Doctors who don't seem to have enough time to even listen to their patients' needs, Doctor Gohar took her time, attentively listening to my concerns and what I was hoping to achieve, and then added her own suggestions for a natural look (thus resulting in the amazing appearance of a lift around the outer corner of the eyes). The injection was quick, pain-free, and left absolutely no bruises in the following days. I have also visited Doctor Gohar for minor peels to get rid of dark spots. She has this inherent ability to perfectly detect the right kind and amount of peel for one's skin needs, and the best part is that whenever she comes a cross a great product that is a must-try for my skin type (ex:Obagi Serum,etc.) she gives out a free sample for me to try. Often the samples alone do the trick, without needing to buy the actual product until my next visit I've also abandoned my old facialist in favor of the facialist in her office. I have occasional trouble with pimples and blackheads, and the kind European lady who does facials there (forgot her name) knows exactly what kind of products to use to get rid of those. She spends a thorough one-hour session on my face, switching between extractions (which are a must for anyone with blackhead, etc. problems) and using healing masks, massaging my hands, etc. I've been to various facialists at high end spas in LA who spend the entire facial hour putting stacks and stacks of creams on my face, spending no time on extractions, and thus not getting to the root of the problem. Overall, my experiences with Dr. Gohar and her team has been nothing but extraordinary. She is funny, considerate, kind, and takes her time listening to one's specific needs, and has never failed to give me the exact look I wanted (and as I said even more) I know it is very difficult and confusing to find the right Doctor in LA given the many options so I thought I would write this review to put you at ease in making your decision. Try Doctor Gohar and you'll never be able to leave her alone again!

I have been to Dr.Gohar three times over the last five years and couldn't be happier. A friend in Los Angeles recommended her. I found her to be very knowledgeable and thorough in her explanations. My first visit I had botox in my forehead and restylane in my cheek folds. The pain was minimal and the results amazing. Folks at home commented on how rested I looked, but with two young children that is far from the case. I look natural and healthy and couldn't be more pleased. Since the initial visit, I have returned each time and am equally satisfied. The office staff are friendly and helpful.

Dr. Gohar is absolutely wonderful! I've gone to so many other places before this to fix my scars and other skin issues. And after getting scammed several times, I gave up...until my sister referred me to her and I gave it another shot. She recommended and administered the right treatments for my skin and now I can leave the house without makeup...looking better than ever! I never dreamed this was possible for me and I want to share this with everyone who feels the same way. Even for those who need some minor treatment, she doesn't overdo it. I'm a huge fan of Dr. Gohar. She's extremely knowledgeable about the treatments and does a very thorough job. Her prices are also really reasonable to top it all of Dr. Gohar is a total sweetheart -- she's easy to talk to and makes you feel very comfortable.

All I can say is that I absolutely loved Dr. Gohar! The lady that was before me came out after a very long schlerotherapy appointment and came over to me with a pleasantly surprised look and said, "She's wonderful!" And, that is the experience I had. Dr. Gohar is a true professional, very personable, extremely knowledgeable, very caring, and teaches the patient about the procedure in drawings before she does anything. Yes, I got this through a special, but, I had had some schlerotherapy done before, so, I knew what to expect. She does take more time than most doctors and is very careful, but, hey, is that a bad thing? I am going back for followups. This was a wonderful experience. I purchased the IPL and microdermabrasion facial. I have difficult skin conditions and tend to be apprehensive when trying new places but I am very pleased with the results. I have never written a review on Yelp, but my experience with Dr. Kathy Gohar's office was so relaxing and rejuvenating that I had to share. (I hope it is not filtered!!) While I had a procedure that was a bit uncomfortable, I found Dr. Gohar's explanation and execution of the procedure thorough and gentle, her voice soothing, and she expressed genuine interest in getting to know me. While she may have a reserved approach when first meeting clients, she cares about her work speaking for itself. I did make sure to ask her questions about her own practice and life which made the conversation open and comfortable during the visit. She gave me a free consultation of other areas I was concerned about and made observations that no doctor has recognized previously. She is a perfectionist. I hope this encourages many of you to visit her charming office.

This is my first yelp review ever, so bear with me, but I just had to write something for Dr. Gohar after seeing all of these crazy reviews. I found her through Lifebooker and I just went to her for the first time for Botox, Juvederm and scar revision and although it was my first time with all of these treatments it was amazing. First of all she is so calm and nice and she really listens. I brought my husband with me because I was nervous and she put us both at ease instantly. Secondly I felt so much better knowing that a REAL dr. was injecting and treating me rather than just an assistant (who may or may not have the necessary training). She was so patient and talked me through everything. It was a lot less painful than I thought it would be and the results are unbelievable! She really knows exactly what to put where. I am happy to have found my new dermatologist and even booked another appointment for some other skin concerns. I urge you to judge for yourself, I am so happy I did. Now I'm hooked!

I went to another doctor from Groupon. Then I went to Dr. Gohar with Groupon. The difference in results is night and day. He left me with results that were bumpy and obvious with Juvederm. Dr. Gohar has a gift. Sure, I did have to wait past the time my appt was scheduled. I heard her being friendly with a patient. So much of our time is spent rushing here and there. Stop running around like a chicken with its head cut off and take a few hours for yourself. You probably can go to a place that can service you faster, but the results might not be as good.

I found Dr. Gohar through one of those online coupon deals. I thought I had only purchased an IPL treatment because the price was so great. I was surprised by a relaxing and gentle facial cleansing and hydration treatment by Annette prior to the IPL. While in Annette and Dr. Gohar's care, I felt like my skin was assessed honestly and that unlike many places, they explained the different treatments available for my stress related acne and the pros and cons of each. Dr. Gohar and Annette were both kind and pleasant to be around and I even left with a couple free gifts and several gift certificates for reduced price treatments in the future. IPL treatments do not feel good when you're getting them, but the results I received at this office were noticeable within a couple hours and I am looking forward to seeing them again.

I was truly shocked by the reviews I read for Dr. Gohar's Medi Spa!! I have been patient of Dr. Gohar's for at least 5 years, and especially in the field of Dermatology, I would never to go to someone I didn't consider to be one of the best. After many referrals from my friends, I went to see Dr.Gohar for a consultation. I was so impressed with all the answers she gave me, when I expressed the dermatological concerns I was dealing with, and the procedures I wanted to try. She never tried to force me to do any treatment I was looking for. She simply explained how the procedures worked, and if they would be of benefit for me. She even told that that one procedure I was interested in, was not age appropriate yet for me, and we could revisit my concerns later. I have never had to wait more than five minutes to see her, and her receptionist never fails to offer me tea, coffee or any other drink that I might want. She is brilliant with her placement of Botox and fillers!! She tends to err on the side of caution, and would rather give me a more conservative treatment, and to come back later, to see if more is needed. She even calls me the next day, without fail, to see how I am doing!! I am NEVER charged for that follow up visit by the way. Dr. Gohar has also gone out of her way,on many occasions, to stay later in her office, to accommodate my busy schedule. Sometimes that has been as as late as 8:00 P.M. That is unheard of in the medical world; especially in Beverly Hills, I have also had facials, and massages at her spa, which were wonderful. Overall, Dr. Gohar is an incredibly skilled Dermatologist , whose concern and care for her patients is unparalleled. That is why I felt so compelled to write this review. These other reviews seem to be talking about a Dr. I have never known, nor will I. I continue to refer my friends to her, and they have all had the same experience with her as I have. Doctor Gohar takes percausions to make sure her procedures are as painless as possible. The Botox injections that I received were the best and lasted the longest of others I've had elsewhere. I would say her prices are very fare and her monthly specials are particularly helpful as most of us are not the House Wives of Beverly Hills.

I first went to Dr. Gohar for Botox & she was very personable and very caring. I love how she personally texted back and forth with me answering all of my questions. I find her to be very knowledgable and professional. She did a great job with my Botox and I just went back for Radiesse treatments. I totally trust her and I am now a regular client.

I am among the very first clients of Dr. Kathy since the day the office opened. She has been right on the spot with me and my needs professionally and in terms of customer service. I am sure we all have run into crazy people around us and it is not fair to judge a business based on a weird experience. I was walking in to the building that same day and heard her calling the police on the person who created the commotion. The first time I went to her was to correct another doctor's horrible job of freezing my face. Another time I insisted on getting less botox and I did not get the same results , so now I trust her and actually let her do what she thinks it is right. I am very happy with the procedures. It is good to say what we like but in some cases doctors know best. My experience has always been very pleasant and her calm manner helped me a lot when I had the fraxel laser procedure. I also like the fact that she numbs the areas that are sensitive to injections or lasers treatments skillfully, have not had this done by other doctors.

Dr. Gohar is the ultimate professional. She is smart and savvy without being pushy. She has a strategic eye. With one look she can pretty much tell you what will work and what won't. Dr. Kathy Gohar is amazing! I've been to three plastic surgeons, two who specialize only on eyes, each telling me they could not take the bags away from under my eyes. Kathy immediately asked me what I was complaining about and when I showed her she said "that is too much filler put in right under the skin". Where upon she gave me an injection and voila I look 10 years younger and the festoons were gone!

Dr. Kathy is a complete sweetheart and gave me a ton of information. I didnt know much of what I was getting into but I left with so much knowledge about Velashape. She made me feel really comfortable. Honestly I love the whole concept of Velashape! I think its absolutely amazing. Its affordable, non invasive and painless. I have to do a few more treatments but I do think its totally worth it!! My next step is laser hair removal!

If your skin is in despair, Beverly Hills Medi Spa will take care of you. I had a history of bad acne and tried every product available to date. Dr. Gohar first recommended a chemical peel that did wonders to my acne. After that treatment, I followed up w/ a facial and since then, my face is completely clear and no more breakouts. I still continue to visit on a monthly basis. Very nice and professional staff.

Dr. Gohar is in my building. I see her with her scrubs on all the time. I finally broke down and asked her her specialties — botox, fraxel, laser hair removal. I went in for my second treatment for laser and she gets every single hair. She is so gentle. I had heard that this procedure hurts but not even a bit! I became so fond of her gentle personality and her kind demeanor I decided to try her fraxil laser to reduce some fine lines and lighten some of my sun damage. I am hooked. She is so educated and informs me of all the pros of fraxil... I am also happy to admit I had her do my botox last month and my forehead has no sight of any lines... I really trust and enjoy her expertise. Highly recommended!
